Secure SSO with ability to turn off SSO for ad-hoc logon requirements
When using TrustBroker it is possible to turn off SSO for ad-hoc requirements, but use SSO for most cases where a user logs onto SAP applications.
Active Directory authentication without SSO
Sometimes SSO is not desirable, or allowed, and TrustBroker can come to the rescue.
SAP GUI Logon using Certificate on Smart Card
Most users logon to Active Directory using an account and password, but if a smart card containing a certificate is used instead, the TrustBroker products can allow this same certificate to authenticate them when they logon to SAP applications.

SAP ERP Electronic Signatures (e.g. for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance) + Active Directory based Secure Single Sign-On
When using Electronic Signatures in SAP ERP, normally the SAP user ID and password is entered, but if you want to take advantage of Active Directory authenticaiton with your SAP business applications, it is necessary to ensure that the electronic signature re-authentication of the user is able to use Active Directory authentication, and is able to ensure that the user who is re-authenticating is the exact same user that authenticated when they logged onto the SAP application.
